Time for a low tunnel...

It has been a couple of weeks since my last post! Ugh, I had hoped to keep up a little better, however, farm life is a busy life, especially in the spring. Add to that a house renovation, and well, you get the point - we are busy!

The Missouri spring continues to hop all over the place (pun intended!) - one day it is 70*, the next it's 40* with flurries. We are taking each day as it comes... Due to the weather, we have yet to plant our tomatoes, peppers, and companion plants in the dirt (we don't want them to freeze). In order to keep them from getting spindly indoors, Bob built a temporary low tunnel for them. They will not spend much time growing in here, only waiting until the risk of frost has past...

Bob will manage the temperature inside the tunnel by venting and/or covering depending on sunlight and other weather factors...

We shall keep you posted on the progress...

 Waiting on the sunshine,
